Ensure enough air circulation when greens are sown densely. Good air flow prevents greens becoming soggy. It might be a good a idea to put a small fan near the greens to get the air moving. If you are growing indoors under lights, a small in line fan works well.
The name Kohlrabi is adopted from the German word Kohl (cabbage) Rabi (turnip). The first European written record was in 1554 by botanist Pietro Andrea Mattioli from Vienna who wrote it had come into Italy during that time. Cultivation spread to Northern Europe, and was being grown in Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain and parts of the Mediterranean.
