Pindstrup Blond Special is a professional growing substrate.

Suitable for various growing practices like mature vegetables, herbs, chillies, flowers, microgreens, propagation and seedlings.

Alternative uses:

• Mix in with compost and potting soil for added nutrients.
• Use as is for microgreens growing or mix in at 50:50 to your standard Cocopeat and Perlite mix.
• Beetroot grows more consistency with 100% Pindstrup in the tray.

The substrate consists of sustainably sourced and carefully screened Blonde Sphagnum Peat Moss, added nutrients and perlite.

Directions of use:

Seedlings and propagation – Add 500-600ml of water to 500g (2L) of dry Pindstrup and fill containers or seedling trays. Sow directly into the moist substrate.

Mature plants – Mix in at 30-50% of total mix. For instance, 70% Potting Soil and Compost + 30% Pindstrup. Add water to reach your desired moisture.

Microgreens – Add 600ml of water to 500g (2L) of dry Pindstrup and add to tray. This is enough for 1 standard microgreens tray. This works well for Beetroot, Coriander and Swiss Chard. Beetroot grows more consistently with 100% Pindstrup in the tray. For other microgreens, you can add this mix to your current grow mix at 30-50% to improve the nutrient profile and general characteristics of your mix.
