Pansy Clear Crystal Mixed produce multi-coloured edible flowers. They are perennial flowers grown as annuals. Great for planting large amounts.

Growing Notes:
Germinate in germination trays and when they are large enough to handle transplant to pots or flower beds.
Deadhead regularly to ensure prolonged display.
Uses:
Firstly, Pansies have a beautiful appearance and are commonly used in salads and as a garnish. Secondly, Pansies have a mild lettuce like flavour and are used in salads, iced tea, cocktails and deserts. Alternatively, petals can be frozen in ice cubes to add to the attraction of your favourite drink.
Origin:
Many gardeners cultivated pansies in Europe in the early days. Furthermore, pansies originated from Buckinghamshire, England. Interestingly, during the early 1800s a curious Lord Gambier and his gardener began crossing various Viola species. Now many gardeners around the world grow pansies.
